Ruth H. Reinhard (Partner/Director)
Ruth has been employed as an elementary school teacher, a learning disabilities teacher consultant and an administrator with the New Jersey State Department of Education. Her educational background includes a BA, and an MA in education. Ruth holds certifications which include Elementary School teacher, LDTC, Teacher of the Handicapped, Principal, Supervisor and Administrator.
V. Jean Stack (Partner/Director)
Jean has functioned as a speech pathologist, special education teacher and as a private school administrator. She has a BA in education and speech correction and an MA in speech pathology. Her professional certifications include Early Childhood, Elementary School Teacher, Teacher of the Handicapped, Speech/Language Specialist, Principal, Supervisor and Administrator.
Josephine Hammond (School Business Administrator)
Josephine manages the accounting and finance departments, establishes the budgets and produces the company’s Financial Statements. She holds a BA in Accounting and past employment has been as a Staff Accountant and Controller. State of New Jersey Certifications include School Business Administrator and Qualified Purchasing Agent in Local Public contract Law.
Sharon C. Burney (Human Resources Administrator)
Sharon has been in the field of Human Resources for over twenty years. Since June 2000, she has been a member of the RKS Team. ”One of the most enjoyable aspects of my position is the interaction with our staff and students at the schools. While not working, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending time with my husband and three sons.”
Mark A. Costa (Facilities Manager)
Mark has worked at RKS Associates, for 10 years, and is in charge of the upkeep, maintenance and construction activities of all the school facilities. Prior to coming to RKS Mark was employed in the Facilities & Services Department of Honeywell International and at PSE&G in a power generating plant. ”I am a US Navy Veteran, husband and Father of two teenage girls.”
Bernadette Sheehan (Accounts Payable Manager)
Bernadette started working for RKS Associates as an assistant to the bookkeeper twenty-five years ago. She manages cash flow and accounts payable, in addition to reconciling tuition billing and works with our insurance agent on various situations. ”I have learned, throughout the years, how much work it takes to maintain a strong, stable and safe environment for the students and employees.”
Marisa Furey (Accounts Receivable Manager)
Marisa began her career with RKS Associates in August of 1998 as an assistant in the Accounts Payable Department. She is now in charge of the Accounts Receivable Department. ”Knowing the work you do everyday supports our amazing students of the Alpha, Harbor and Gateway Schools brings a sense of accomplishment on a daily basis. Being a member of the RKS Associates family is truly a rewarding experience that I am proud to be part.”
Robert Carlino (Payroll Manager)
Rob has worked at RKS Associates for over 6 years as the Payroll Manager. He handles all employee and student contracts and assists employees with payroll issues. “I am very proud to be a member of the RKS family and working for Mrs Reinhard, Mrs Kennedy and Mrs. Stack. The interaction with the students at the Schools is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.”
James Grable (Network Administrator)
Jim joined RKS as Network Administrator in September of 2008. He is in charge of the schools’ computer systems. Jim is a computer specialist certified in MCP, MCSE, MCT and A+. ”It was the best career move I could have made. My position has me at each of our schools once a week, so I see what the combined work of everyone does for the children. I look forward to coming to work every day, knowing that I make a difference in helping them reach their goals and aspirations.”
